The Taes coffee table draws inspiration from the majestic sloping-sided architectural platforms, historically used for religious, ceremonial and defensive purposes. In stacked form, the platforms raise monuments such as pyramids and temples. Single platforms were used as foundations of buildings and defensive structures.
The coffee table is designed by Aad Bos and crafted in the Netherlands out of solid European oak or American walnut. The table is made to order and customizable in design, size, material and color.
