The wood-slat platform eliminates the need for a box spring, providing stable, even support for spring, memory foam, or hybrid mattresses. To ensure a seamless fit between the base and headboard, we recommend using a mattress between 8″ and 12″ thick. When paired with a 10″ mattress, the total bed height reaches a comfortable 22″.
