Part of the refined Kyma Collection, the Kyma Armchair is a sophisticated union of architectural inspiration and Italian craftsmanship. Designed by Matteo Nunziati for Turri, the armchair draws on the work of renowned 20th-century architect Giovanni Muzio, translating classical forms into a minimalist, contemporary expression.
At the heart of the design is a wooden frame that supports a full-leather pocket, inside which the plush cushions appear to float — an elegant visual metaphor for lightness and suspension. This enveloping leather shell is not only a bold structural element but also a tactile highlight, emphasizing the collection’s attention to material richness.
The soft, abundant cushions can be upholstered in either fine leather or premium fabric, while the precise proportions and joints of the wood frame reflect the clean lines and masterful joinery typical of Italian artisanal tradition. Every detail — from the refined stitching to the harmonious palette — has been thoughtfully composed to offer visual and physical comfort.
Beyond its aesthetic grace, the Kyma Armchair stands as a symbol of Turri’s renewed identity, where heritage meets innovation. Crafted entirely in Italy, it embodies a commitment to timeless design, material excellence, and bespoke tailoring, seamlessly blending interior design and architectural vision into a cohesive statement of elegance.
